Probate & Trust Litigation
Litigation is an unfortunate reality in some probate administration and trust administration cases. Litigation is not for the faint of heart, and building the best case takes time and experience. The team at Law Offices of Jeffrey S. Lind has worked on numerous litigation matters, frequently negotiating favorable settlements and winning cases for our clients.
What kind of cases involve litigation?
Litigation can take many forms. There are several examples or categories that probate and/or trust litigation may involve. For example:
Caretakers taking advantage of elderly individuals and convincing them to change their estate plans;
Family members being shocked that mom and/or dad did not leave them what they expected to get;
Trustees and/or personal representatives misappropriating assets of the deceased;
Bad acting individuals taking assets of the deceased before the trustee or personal representative can protect them.
